It excites me that you have stumbled upon my website. My name is Melisa, I live in California. I started getting into photography about 8 years ago, as I kept going and exploring different kinds of photography I realized I loved photographing weddings, everything about them I love. The love, the flowers, the excitement, the dress, the decor, the couple, everything. Even down to editing the images, I love. Photographing people is just something that makes me so so happy. It brings me so much joy knowing that together we are creating images that you (my client) will forever cherish. My style is documental with dark moody tones and real emotions. I love the outdoors and being adventurous while I'm photographing. I'm super laid-back and will make you feel relaxed when we have your photographic session. HECK! I'll even carry your baby while I take some photos of just you and your loved one. You see, that's just who I am, I am not only your photographer, I am your friend, your friend who will help pick up your dress, your friend who will tell you you have lipstick on your teeth, your friend who will also at times somehow become the coordinator, your friend who will tear up from behind the camera while you say your vows to the love of your life. WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
I love love. Therefor it's very easy for me to love weddings. Taking photographs is something I truly enjoy and feel more myself while doing. I love creating images then creating a beautiful final result for my couples to enjoy for years and years. From the albums I put together to the archival boxes and the thank you cards. I love making everything so personal cause that's just who I am. I take my work very seriously and I love to showcase that in my tangible items as well as every single image I edit.
